# Franchise League Football

> Franchise League Football (FLF) is dynasty fantasy football with real front-office depth: multi-year player contracts, a live salary-cap auction, automatic injury substitutions, and a college (farm) draft. Gather 8–14 friends and run your franchise for a full season for just $10 per manager.

Franchise League Football is a mobile fantasy football game for iOS and Android that simulates being a real NFL general manager. Unlike traditional redraft fantasy, FLF is a contract-based keeper league where roster decisions compound over multiple seasons. It won the 2025 FSGA award for Best Product Experience.

## Core concepts

- **Salary cap**: Each franchise operates under a $100M salary cap that applies during the pre-season auction. There is no salary cap during the regular season.
- **Player contracts**: Players sign multi-year contracts at a set annual salary. As a deal nears its final year you can extend the player, let them reach free agency, or trade them. Roster statuses are regular contract, free agent (FA), and restricted free agent (RFA).
- **Pre-season auction**: Before each season every team protects 6–9 players, then competes in a live three-part auction — restricted free agents, free agents, and a one-round college draft — while staying under the cap.
- **College (farm) draft**: Stash top college prospects before they turn pro; promote them to your NFL roster when they declare.
- **Regular season**: A 14-week season of weekly head-to-head matchups plus site-wide weekly tournaments. Automatic injury subs, trades, and a weekly $100M supplemental free-agent budget keep you managing all season.
- **Playoffs**: The top four teams advance to a round-robin playoff in Weeks 15–17, so the best team rises instead of being knocked out on one bad beat. Non-playoff teams are seeded into next season's draft order.
